B.Sc (Horti.) Degree Programme:
B.Sc (Horti.) course is completed in eight semesters (4 years). The courses include theory and practicals of various subjects in Horticulture. The course curriculum has 160 credits distributed in eight semesters. The curriculum is required minimum 55 per cent marks for passing. The different subjects included in B.Sc.(Horti.) degree programme are Horticulture, Agronomy, Agril. Botany, Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, Plant Pathology, Agril. Entomology, Agril. Extension, Agril. Economics and Agril. Engineering. The VII and VIII semester is allowded for Experiential Learning Programme. The students academic activities involves participation in sports, NSS, cultural activities and Experiential Learning programme reports etc. The college has creating facilities for the modules of Experiential Learning viz . Nursery production and management, Floriculture and Landscape gardening, Protected Cultivation of High Value Horticultural Crops and Post harvest handling & Value Addition of Horticultural Crops, which will be helpful to the students to develop their entrepreneurial skill, so that they can become job provider.

The College has YCMOU’ Agriculture Education Center ‘‘Murlidhara Swamiji College of Horticulture Malegaon’’ since 2013-14.
The Agriculture Education Center provides opportunity for rural students to complete the different courses of agricultural discipline for their bright future.
